Greeting My Sister's and Brethren in Christ , as I awaken again with my heart and mind set on Christ and the Scripture comes to mind how Jesus was seeking out His Disciples but he needed to explained something to them concerning their walk with him. God gave me this revelation years ago in reference to denying yourself and picking up your Cross and follow after Him. Saints you see the reason why Jesus made this statement in reference to the Foxes has holes and birds of the air has nests ...but the Son of man has no place to lay his head. I heard in my spirit UN-SUNG. so this is why I write this study .

We need to recognize that this is not a walk of comfort and extravagance ,you must be able to denied yourself and walk in humility, because as Jesus said I sleep wherever I can lay my head and there are no fancy Hotels or Inns for me to go and if you desire to follow me you will need to forsake yourself and all others.. Jesus was born in a cave and there was no room at the Inn and He was born into humility because this is what the walk of Christ requires ... let's look at the unsung disciples because they refused to denied themselves they gave up one of the greatest opportunities to become one of Christ greatest Disciples. does this sounds familiar in today's disciples can you identify?

When we look at the situation surrounding our passage, as recorded in Matthew 8:18-23 and Luke 9:57-62, we see that people are seeking the “glamour” of following Jesus or there were other things thing that came before their desire to follow Him, for which Jesus gives several responses. All of which were designed to show the degree of commitment that is required to be a true follower of God. Let’s look at this passage in both recorded texts

Jesus is not being coldhearted. He is trying to make the point that true followers of God have to be spiritually based in heaven in order to bring that kingdom living to earth. Now there was others remember the rich ruler who refused to sell his possessions, I beleive there was many more... however again they are un-sung.

As Jesus said in John 14:12, we, who truly believe and have faith, should be able to do ever greater works than Jesus was able to accomplish here on earth.

Saints in no way is Jesus implying that we should not look after our loves one or honor our parents ....He is simply giving us the directions to become great disciples so we can discern the true working of God and what is required to become a true disciple. I wonder whatever happened to these men they was never mentioned again this is why I call them un-sung disciples there is no celebration or praise given unto them they had gave up the opportunity for their names and works to be recorded in one of the greatest books that ever existed. Now will we give up the opportunity to be recorded in the Great Book of Life or will we hear the LORD say Thy Good and faithful Servant come up a little higher.

When Jesus said deny yourself and pick up your cross , He is telling us that your freshly and worldly desires will keep you from carrying your cross. Jesus in all of His glory came down and humble himself and He made no reputation for himself. We seek after titles and how great men think we are and we have so much ambition in our walk that it has nothing to do with God it's all about us. See Love it not puffed up , it does not parade itself like most Christian want to be seen and heard of their doing ,they are not really glorifying God they are puffed up (WRONG) God said "no flesh will glorify in my presence!" No Cross No Crown..........

Luke 13 vs 34

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not! THE great business of man's life is to answer the end for which he lives, and that is to glorify God and save his own soul THOUGH the knowledge and obedience of the doctrine of the Cross of Christ be of infinite moment to the souls of men, for that is the only door to true Christianity, and that path the ancients ever trod to blessedness; yet, with extreme affliction let me say, it is so little understood, so much neglected, and, what is worse, so bitterly contradicted by the vanity, superstition, and intemperance of professed Christians, that we must either renounce to believe what the Lord Jesus hath told us, that whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after Him, cannot be his disciple (Luke 24: 27); or, admitting that for truth, conclude, that the generality of Christendom do miserably deceive and disappoint themselves in the great business of Christianity, and their own salvation. We must be tried and trailed so we can become strong soilders for Christ,Jesus will not let us fall if we will just trust and follow Him. Jesus said " Draw nigh to me and resist the devil and he shall flee. See saints we have this way ofbreaking uo the scriptues and that is where we lose our POWER .We can't rebuke the devil and he will just flee we don't have that kind of power.. this is why the a scipture says Draw nigh to ME! Inthe presence of the Lord evil will not prevail . James 1 vs 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

As I sit here at my computer and think about the goodness of Jesus and all He's done for me my Soul cries out hallelujah. I thank Almighty God for saving me! During this week I found myself ministering to women from the West coast to the East coast and during my time of fellowship with one of my spiritual sisters, God kept confirming time after time that I was in the right lane.

I said to God the other day ...Lord even in my position of unemployment I have a calmness about me and I thank you that I can encourage and celebrate my Sistahs for all that they need in you and in their homes. I thanked God for the testimonies and the yoke to be destroyed that is dominating my sisters. I called out fear and put it in it's place. My cup is running over like never before and I feel a divine connection going on in my life. I promised God that I would be accountable in 2009 and He is holding me to it even in my time of struggle if there is one... I have a calmness that I cant explain! I take nothing in my life for granted and today God said to me" Sometimes even the strongest christian have to be reminded of His Goodness and Mercy."

James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:1-5

Did you notice how God calls patience (her) My revelation is God see women as a precious jewel and He identifies patience as a women in all of her holiness and beauty. It is a beautiful thing when we can be patient! Some of us struggles with this most beautiful gift and we seem to miss out on the true will of God when we allow ourselves to be moved and we go before God.! For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning. Psalms 30 vs. 5

Now let's look at this scripture real close, because we have times where we break the scriptures up this is why we can't be fully delivered from pain and anger. Now God said His anger is but for a moment His favor is for a lifetime. So knowing that. this is where your weeping turns into joy in the morning let's look at another scripture. Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Now in the morning is where God says Let there be Life so when He awakes us He is still faithful even when were not! It's states Great is Thy Faithfulness...God cant and wont be unfaithful to himself you are the Beloved you are framed by your words so speak life to yourself and resurrect that which you thought was dead in you! God is a God of Prophetic and He is still in the healing business and desires to make us whole. Listen...... In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Isaiah 6 vs. What or who is your King Uzziah that's keeping you from seeing the Lord? Or being able to touch the train of His Garment. God is still in the Temple and He is reachable and His virtue is still pouring out on those who desire to see him in the beauty of His Holiness. It took King Uzziah to died for Isaiah to see God and even he said woe unto me for I'm undone,but he took the opportunity to find his true calling with God and to seek His face and listen for his voice. Is it a habit, fear, lust, lying, gossiping. whatever it is... God can and will remove that which besets us if we would seek His face and sit at His feet. I so desired to share what was on my heart and how God ministered to me first and now I pour out to you. Stand up brush yourself off and know that God is setting up this time for you and for me and together we can win because the battle is not yours it's the Lord's and the fight is fixed and We are more than conquerors though Christ Jesus who loves us. Romans 8 vs 37. He went before us and defeated every temptation that we could come up against. But know this one thing....We are tryed on every side and we must go through to get through but Jesus is there to walk you through.

Only one thing is needed

Jesus was eating dinner at the home of Mary and Martha. Jesus was teaching, while Martha was busying herself with cooking dinner. In frustration, Martha told Jesus, "Lord, tell my sister Mary to help me in the kitchen."Jesus looked at her and said, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.

"What did Mary choose? She chose the Word. Can you relate to Martha? Are you worried and upset about many things: perhaps your business, your finances, your family, your spouse, your health, or whatever? Martha's answer to all her problems was at the feet of Jesus with her sister, listening to Jesus teach the Word. (see Luke 10:38-42). You may say, "But I don't understand how getting into the Word of God is going to solve my problems!"

Here is how it works: Your soul influences your spirit. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. As you renew your mind to God's Word, and start to think in line with His will, your spirit man will begin to produce the things you need in life that you have discovered are God's will to meet. God is no respecter of persons. He loves the unlovable. He loves the leper. He loves the rejected. And He loves you. Jesus loves you enough to reach out to you, to touch you, and to set you free. The ministry of deliverance has the power to pull you out of demonic control. If you have a wounded heart or a broken spirit, Jesus loves you. He draws near to them that have broken heart and saves as such that have a contrite spirit. And nothing can separate you from His love. He’s willing to heal you and make you whole.
